Adelphia is a one-year Christian school and work-study program focused on building scriptural foundations, spiritual disciplines, and lasting relationships
Adelphia is a one-year Christian school and work-study program
What would your life look like if you invested a year for the Kingdom of God?

With studies showing that nearly 75% of Christian young adults are falling away from their faith and leaving the church after high school, we believe firmly establishing an identity in Jesus Christ is more important than ever. Adelphia’s goal is to create an environment where young adults can grow in conformity to the image of Christ together. You will:
- Discover who you are called to be in Christ
- Grow in your faith in a fun, accepting, challenging, and rewarding atmosphere
- Graduate from our Discipleship program loan and debt free
Helping prepare people like you for life and ministry

“As I grew closer to God I realized how much i missed someone who could sustain me in my life and I realized it was God who could sustain me.”

Everyone treats you with love, ad you get to learn about God”

“At Adelphia. I’ve grown a lot in my relationship with Jesus by learning how to love like Jesus day to day.”

“I’ve fallen so much more in love with God because of how much I’ve interacted with Him and learned about Him and obeyed Him.”

Foundation for life with purpose
At Adelphia, we focus on Scripture, Community, Work, and Service
Scripture
We love and value Scripture as the ultimate source of truth. During your year here, we will explore in Scripture what it means to know the Lord more deeply, and what it looks like to follow and love Jesus in the ways He modeled for us.
Community
Christ Centered community is a central theme to our program. We foster lasting relationships by living life together and learning to love one another in all walks and seasons of life.
Work-Study
Adelphia has partnered with Lake Retreat Camp through a work-study program. This allows us to practice biblical principles of work and develop practical work experience, all while completely covering the cost of the program.
Serving
Using our gifts for the benefit of others is foundational as a disciple of Jesus. Each week, our young adults will have the opportunity to serve in areas of need at homeless shelters, local churches, throughout our own neighborhoods, and elsewhere.

When is the application deadline?
Adelphia limits the class to 20 students per year, so applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible. If space is available, applications are accepted up to two weeks prior to the start of a term.
Is the food good?
All meals are included in the tuition. Our food service department attempts to plan and prepare tasty, balanced and nutritious meals, served buffet-style. Fridges and food storage are also provided in the student cafeteria for students to use, and are available at all times.
Are there prerequisites to attend?
Students must profess Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and be pursuing a life that is honoring to Christ. Students must not be in opposition to our Statement of Faith. Although we have an affiliation with Converge Northwest, no church or denominational affiliation is required for admission. Applicants with a criminal background or who have a history of sexual misconduct will not be admitted to the school due to our close proximity to Lake Retreat Camp, which hosts minors on campus.
What are student accommodations like at Adelphia?
All housing is on-site in a dorm-setting. Students will be assigned to rooms with 1 other roommate. Every room is has wardrobes, private bathrooms and heating & air conditioning.
Students may stay in dorm rooms during the school year, as long as they are a student in good standing. Students are welcome to remain in dorms during scheduled breaks, although meals cannot be guaranteed if they are not specifically scheduled to work.
